Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, sliced against the grain
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil for stir-frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or quinoa, for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the beef in soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a hot skillet or wok.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet, cooking until browned.
- Add the sliced onions and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the bell peppers and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the stir-fry on a bed of rice or quinoa, garnishing with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add chili paste or crushed red pepper flakes. You can also use tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free version.
