A comforting lasagna that combines the rich flavors of a cheeseburger with layers of gooey cheese and crispy turkey bacon.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is brown and drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, and half of the chopped parsley.
  5. Start assembling the lasagna: Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
  6. Add a layer of cooked lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture, and then another layer of meat sauce. Sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top and sprinkling crumbled turkey bacon over the last layer.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until it’s golden and bubbly.
  10. Let it rest for 10 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap ground beef for turkey and use cottage cheese instead of ricotta.
