- 4 tilapia fillets (1 pound total)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with a touch of olive oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well!
- Place the tilapia fillets on your prepared baking sheet. Drizzle them with olive oil and fresh lemon juice, then generously sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on top of each fillet.
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tilapia is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
- Let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving to allow the flavors to settle in.
Notes
For added flavor, consider including herbs like parsley or thyme in the breadcrumb mixture.
