Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets (1 pound total)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with a touch of olive oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well!
  3. Place the tilapia fillets on your prepared baking sheet. Drizzle them with olive oil and fresh lemon juice, then generously sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on top of each fillet.
  4. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tilapia is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving to allow the flavors to settle in.
