- 12 large mushrooms, stems removed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable broth (optional, to adjust consistency)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- If the mixture is too dry, add a splash of vegetable broth to reach desired creaminess.
- Generously stuff each mushroom cap with the filling mixture.
- Place stuffed mushrooms on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the stuffing is golden and bubbly and mushrooms are tender.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley.

For the best texture, avoid substituting cream cheese with other cheeses. Use fresh herbs and keep mushrooms firm for stuffing.
