Description

Delicious and savory stuffed mushrooms filled with a creamy mixture of cheese, herbs, and breadcrumbs, perfect as an appetizer for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms, stems removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable broth (optional, to adjust consistency)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. If the mixture is too dry, add a splash of vegetable broth to reach desired creaminess.
  4. Generously stuff each mushroom cap with the filling mixture.
  5. Place stuffed mushrooms on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the stuffing is golden and bubbly and mushrooms are tender.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley.
