A delicious dessert that combines cookie and pie, featuring a gooey Nutella filling and buttery cookie dough.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Cream the unsalted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
- Press half of the cookie dough into a greased pie dish, forming a flat layer.
- Spread a layer of Nutella over the cookie dough base, leaving a border around the edges.
- Scatter chunks of the remaining cookie dough over the Nutella layer.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, keeping the center soft.
- Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Great with vanilla ice cream or drizzled chocolate sauce.
