Description

A fast, crunchy treat combining coffee flavor with crisp rice cereal and chocolate, perfect for warm weather and no bake required.


Ingredients

  • 10 oz (280 g) semisweet chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 12 teaspoons instant espresso powder or 2 tablespoons strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 6 cups (180 g) Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate, butter, and coffee together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  2. Off the heat, stir in vanilla and salt.
  3. Quickly fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  4. Scoop the mixture onto parchment-lined sheets and press gently to compact.
  5. Let set at room temperature for 30-45 minutes or refrigerate for 15 minutes.
