- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prepare 10 cups of freshly popped popcorn and remove any unpopped kernels.
- Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth, ensuring the temperature is between 115–120°F.
- Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn in a large bowl and fold gently to coat.
- Transfer coated popcorn to a large zip-top bag with powdered sugar, seal, and shake until evenly coated.
- Spread the coated popcorn on a parchment-lined sheet to set for 5-10 minutes.
Notes
For best results, work quickly to prevent clumping and consider cooling the coated popcorn on parchment for a few minutes before shaking with powdered sugar.
