- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
- Add yogurt, egg, and melted butter; mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- If desired, fold in walnuts or any add-ins.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For variation, substitute with gluten-free flour or use dairy-free yogurt and coconut oil.
