Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup ground walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then incorporate the cooled coffee.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and ground walnuts.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until golden and a skewer comes out clean, about 50 minutes.
