- 20 mini hot dogs

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F-375°F.
- Skewer the mini hot dogs onto sticks.
- Dip each hot dog into the batter, letting excess drip off.
- Carefully drop the battered hot dogs into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
