A hearty casserole layered with cheesy goodness and tender ravioli, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz frozen ravioli
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  3. Layer half of the ravioli on top of the sauce.
  4. Add half of the ricotta cheese and sprinkle with a third of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers: marinara sauce, ravioli, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.

Notes

This dish can be assembled a day in advance and refrigerated before baking. For gluten-free, use gluten-free ravioli and marinara.
