Description

These Mango Habanero Cauliflower Wings are a vibrant and flavorful appetizer, combining sweet mango and spicy habanero for a delightful dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 fresh habanero pepper
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with cornstarch, olive oil, salt, and pepper until coated.
  3. Spread the cauliflower evenly on a baking sheet and roast until golden brown, about 25 minutes.
  4. While the cauliflower bakes, blend the mango, habanero, lime juice, and honey until smooth to make the sauce.
  5. Once the cauliflower is crispy, toss it in the mango habanero sauce.
  6. Return the coated cauliflower to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to set the glaze.

Notes

Let the wings cool slightly before tossing in the sauce to retain crispiness. For a milder sauce, adjust the amount of habanero used.
