Description

Hearty and flavorful cauliflower wings coated in a sweet and spicy mango habanero sauce, perfect for snacks or appetizers.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 2 habanero peppers
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper to make the batter.
  3. Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce by blending the mango, habanero peppers, lime juice, and honey until smooth.
  6. Once the wings are baked, toss them in the mango habanero sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute regular flour with almond flour or a gluten-free flour blend. Don’t skip the cornstarch for a crispy texture!
