- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions; drain.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in milk and cheese until smooth to create mac and cheese.
- Let the mac and cheese cool slightly.
- Spread the mac and cheese between the slices of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melty.

For best results, let the mac and cheese cool slightly before assembling the sandwich to prevent leaking.
