Description

Crispy fries topped with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and tangy toppings – the ultimate comfort food mash-up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.52 pounds frozen fries or 23 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Chopped green onions, pickles, or ranch for serving

Instructions

  1. Bake fries at 425°F on a rimmed sheet pan until golden, about 25–30 minutes, flipping once.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder; drain excess fat and stir in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Spread hot fries on a clean sheet pan, top with burger meat and shredded cheese.
  4. Broil under a hot broiler for 2–4 minutes until cheese bubbles and browns slightly.
  5. Finish with chopped green onions, pickles, or ranch and serve immediately.

Notes

Pour off excess fat from the browned meat for better texture. Watch the broiler closely to avoid burning.
