Description

A bright, fizzy crowd-pleaser that mixes tart cranberry with sweet apple for festive cheer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 64 fl oz (8 cups) cranberry juice (preferably 100% cranberry)
  • 48 fl oz (6 cups) unfiltered apple cider or apple juice
  • 24 fl oz (about 2 cups) ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, chilled
  • Optional: 1–2 cups vodka or light rum for an alcoholic version
  • Garnish: orange slices, fresh cranberries, sprigs of rosemary, or apple slices

Instructions

  1. In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine cranberry juice and apple cider. Stir to blend.
  2. Taste and add fresh lemon juice if it needs brightness. If making an alcoholic punch, stir in vodka or rum now.
  3. Chill the mixture for at least 1 hour, or refrigerate until cold.
  4. Just before serving, gently stir in chilled ginger ale or lemon-lime soda to preserve fizz. Add ice to the bowl or serve over ice in glasses. Garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, add carbonation last and chill ingredients beforehand to avoid dilution.
