- 1 brick cream cheese, softened
- 2 fresh jalapenos, chopped (seeds in for heat)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Green onions or chopped cilantro for topping
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, plop in the softened cream cheese. If it’s not soft enough, microwave for 15 seconds.
- Chop the jalapenos into tiny bits and add to the bowl.
- Mix in shredded cheddar, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and lime juice.
- Season with salt and pepper, then taste with a chip to adjust flavors.
- Stir until creamy; add more mayo if too thick or an additional jalapeno for more heat.
- Chill in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
