A sweet and savory Chinese BBQ sauce perfect for marinating and glazing meats.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons five spice powder

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, dry sherry, sugar, and five spice powder until well combined.
  2. Use immediately as a marinade or glaze, or store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
