- 4 salmon fillets, skin-on
- 1 mango, ripe
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Marinate the salmon in teriyaki sauce for at least 10 minutes.
- In a blender, combine mango, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey. Blend until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add oil.
- Pan-sear the salmon, skin-side down first, for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In the last minute of cooking, add the mango sauce to the pan to heat through.
- Serve the salmon with extra mango sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute soy sauce with tamari. You can add spicy elements like sriracha for an extra kick.
