- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz blue chocolate, for coating
- Optional: peppermint extract, crushed nuts, or sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just boiling.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped dark chocolate and stir until smooth.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then refrigerate until firm, about 1-2 hours.
- Once set, shape the ganache into bite-sized balls using your hands or a melon baller.
- Melt the blue chocolate in a double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted blue chocolate, tapping off excess.
- Set the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and allow them to set before serving.
Notes
Best served chilled and can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
