Description

Delightful blue chocolate-coated truffles filled with rich chocolate ganache, perfect for holiday gatherings and gifting.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz blue chocolate, for coating
  • Optional: peppermint extract, crushed nuts, or sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just boiling.
  2. Pour the hot cream over the chopped dark chocolate and stir until smooth.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then refrigerate until firm, about 1-2 hours.
  4. Once set, shape the ganache into bite-sized balls using your hands or a melon baller.
  5. Melt the blue chocolate in a double boiler until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted blue chocolate, tapping off excess.
  7. Set the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and allow them to set before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled and can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
