Instructions
- Boil sweet potatoes until fork-tender, then peel and mash them.
- Mix in butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with marshmallows, pecans, or a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes until heated through and toppings are golden.
Notes
Can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated. Freeze before baking for convenience.
