- 3–5 cheeses: soft cheese (Brie or Camembert, 8–12 oz), pungent cheese (Taleggio or Munster, 6–8 oz), firm cheese (aged cheddar or Manchego, 6–8 oz), and optional blue cheese (4–5 oz)
- Nuts (½–1 cup, roasted)
- 1–2 pears (sliced)
- 1 cup grapes
- Crackers
- Small bread slices
- Honey
- Jam
Instructions
- Select the cheeses and arrange on a large board.
- Roast nuts at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes with a pinch of salt and cinnamon.
- Slice fruit and arrange alongside crackers, bread, honey, and jam.
- If using baked brie, wrap cheese in puff pastry and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
- Serve with small bowls for dips and spreads.
Notes
Bring cheeses to room temperature before serving for optimal flavor. Prep ahead by roasting nuts and slicing firm cheeses up to 24 hours in advance.
