- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Sugar (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the red bean filling by cooking and mashing the red beans with sugar until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour with water to form a dough.
- Take a small portion of the dough and shape it around a spoonful of red bean filling.
- Roll the filled balls in sesame seeds until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a frying pan to around 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the sesame balls in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
For best results, let the dough rest for 15 minutes before shaping. Fry in small batches to maintain oil temperature.
