Description

Rich and chewy triple chocolate chip cookies with crisp edges, perfect for gifting or enjoying warm.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).
  2. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Fold in the sifted flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  4. Stir in the milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chunks, and mini semi-sweet chips.
  5. Chill the dough for 30–60 minutes.
  6. Scoop 1–1.5 tablespoons of dough for each cookie.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers look slightly underdone.
  8. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top just after baking.

Notes

Chilling the dough is essential for texture; it reduces spreading and enhances chewiness.
