Instructions
- Boil 1L of water in a large pot without adding salt.
- Add 100g of soba noodles to the boiling water and stir.
- Cook for 150 seconds (2.5 minutes) while maintaining a steady boil.
- Transfer the noodles immediately to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
- Drain the noodles in a colander after about 30 seconds.
- Toss the cooled noodles with sesame oil and soy sauce if desired.
Notes
Washing soba noodles after cooking helps prevent them from sticking together. Always use plenty of water for cooking.
