Ingredients
- Soba noodles (100g)
- Water (at least 1L for boiling)
- Sesame oil (optional, for tossing)
- Soy sauce (optional, for flavor)
Instructions
- Bring at least 1 liter of water to a boil in a large pot.
- Add the soba noodles to the boiling water and ensure they remain separated.
- Cook the noodles for about 2.5 to 5 minutes depending on your desired texture.
- Immediately drain the noodles and rinse them under cold running water for at least one minute.
- Optionally, soak the noodles in ice water for 30 seconds to further prevent sticking.
- Toss with sesame oil and soy sauce if desired before serving.
Notes
Using plenty of water and rinsing the noodles are key to preventing clumping.
