Description

A delicious twist on classic sweet potatoes, featuring a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze that elevates this side dish.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into large cubes
  • 1/4 cup hot honey (or to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chili flakes or hot sauce for extra heat

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into large cubes.
  3. Parboil the sweet potato cubes briefly to soften.
  4. Drain and spread the sweet potatoes on a rimmed baking sheet.
  5. Drizzle with hot honey and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Roast in the oven until crispy on the outside and tender inside, about 25-30 minutes.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with additional hot honey and garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes.
