Description

Delicious cookie cups filled with rich, velvety hot chocolate, perfect for cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Your favorite hot chocolate mix
  • Mini marshmallows (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  6. Chill the dough in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.
  7. Grease a muffin tin and press the cookie dough into each cup, forming a well.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the cookie cups cool slightly, then fill them with hot chocolate mix.
  10. Top with mini marshmallows and whipped cream if desired.

Store leftover cookie cups in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
