- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1/4 tsp salt
- Your favorite hot chocolate mix
- Mini marshmallows (optional)
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Chill the dough in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.
- Grease a muffin tin and press the cookie dough into each cup, forming a well.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the cookie cups cool slightly, then fill them with hot chocolate mix.
- Top with mini marshmallows and whipped cream if desired.
Notes
Store leftover cookie cups in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
