Description

Delicious cookie cups filled with hot chocolate mix, perfect for warm cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Hot chocolate mix
  • Toppings (whipped cream, mini marshmallows, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar, then beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until well combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Press the cookie dough into the muffin tin to form cups, ensuring they are evenly shaped.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes. They should look slightly underbaked when you take them out.
  7. Let them cool slightly before removing from the tin and filling with hot chocolate mix and toppings.

Notes

Use high-quality cocoa powder and chocolate for the best flavor. Let the cups cool slightly to avoid filling them when too hot.
