Description

Decadent brownies loaded with gooey chocolate, perfect for satisfying those chocolate cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup hot chocolate mix
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • Optional: handful mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pot until just liquid.
  2. Whisk in the sugar and cocoa until mixture is smooth.
  3. Let it cool for a minute, then add eggs and vanilla, and beat well.
  4. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt, and hot chocolate mix.
  5. Add chocolate chips and stir to combine.
  6. Pour into a pan and sprinkle with mini marshmallows if desired.
  7. Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes until edges are crisp and center is gooey.
  8. Let cool before slicing and enjoying.

Notes

Use quality cocoa for best results. Don’t overbake; the middle should be gooey.
