- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup pure honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and sesame oil.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour half the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Transfer the marinated chicken to a baking dish and pour the remaining marinade over it.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- For an extra glaze, broil for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Serve on plates with extra sauce drizzled on top. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. Marinate for a few hours or overnight for extra flavor. Add vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for a one-pan meal.
