Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 3 large Eggs
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 handful Flour for Dusting
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients: all-purpose flour, eggs, salt, and olive oil.
- On a clean surface, create a mound with the flour and form a well in the center.
- Crack the eggs into the well, adding salt and olive oil. Beat the eggs with a fork while incorporating flour from the edges.
- When the mixture starts to come together, use your hands to knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Divide the dough into four equal pieces and cover them with a damp cloth.
- Flatten one piece and dust the work surface with flour to prevent sticking.
- Roll out the dough to your desired thickness using a rolling pin or pasta machine.
- Cut the dough into your preferred pasta shape with a sharp knife or pasta cutter.
- Dust cut pasta with flour and set it aside.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the fresh pasta for 2-4 minutes, depending on thickness.
- Taste the pasta to check doneness. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
- Combine the pasta with your favorite sauce, tossing gently to coat. Serve immediately.
Notes
