Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (4 lb) turkey breast (organic preferred)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pat the turkey breast dry. Rub it all over with the softened butter. Then, season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the chopped herbs and minced garlic. Rub this mixture all over the turkey breast for extra flavor.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan. Pour the chicken broth around it.
- Roast the turkey for approximately 90 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the turkey occasionally for added moisture.
- Once done, let the turkey rest for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the turkey overnight in the herb and butter mixture. Basting is key to keeping the turkey juicy.
