Instructions

- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before frosting.
