Instructions
- Crack the hard-boiled eggs slightly and soak them in a bowl of water with food coloring for a few hours.
- Peel the eggs and remove the yolks.
- Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, and a splash of vinegar.
- Tint the filling with food coloring to your desired shade.
- Fill the egg whites with the colored yolk mixture.
- Decorate with black olives and paprika before serving.
Notes
Wear gloves while handling food coloring to avoid staining your hands. For a creamy filling, add a splash of cream cheese or sour cream.
