Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, sauté minced garlic and grated ginger in a splash of oil until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
- Stir in soy sauce for added umami flavor.
- Gently place gyoza dumplings into the boiling broth; cook according to package instructions (about 5 minutes) or until they float.
- Add spinach or bok choy during the last two minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
