Description

Festive Grinch Brownies with rich chocolatey goodness and a vibrant green twist, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (175g) dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • Gel food coloring (green, as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter and chopped dark chocolate together in a bowl.
  3. Stir in the sugar and mix until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in the salt and vanilla extract.
  6. Add the all-purpose flour and stir until combined; be careful not to overmix.
  7. Add gel food coloring to achieve desired green color.
  8. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Let brownies cool completely before cutting and serving.
