Bright, sticky, and a little fiery, this Grilled Spicy Honey Lime Chicken is perfect for a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 1.5–2 lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- Juice and zest of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp juice + 1 tsp zest)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1–2 tbsp sriracha (to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in a mixture of honey, lime juice and zest, soy sauce, sriracha, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400–450°F).
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, basting with a simmered glaze made from the reserved marinade during the last 2-3 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Notes
Serve with cilantro-lime rice or in tacos for a delicious meal. Make sure to use an instant-read thermometer for accuracy.
