Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions, plus extra for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and cool them in ice water.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and milk; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fold the blanched green beans into the soup mixture along with half of the fried onions.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining fried onions on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
