- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup crispy fried onions, plus extra for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and cool them in ice water.
- In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and milk; season with salt and pepper.
- Fold the blanched green beans into the soup mixture along with half of the fried onions.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until bubbly.
- Sprinkle the remaining fried onions on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
