- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it bloom for 5-10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the bloomed yeast and melted butter to the flour and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape into rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Melt the garlic in butter and brush the mixture over the rolls.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Ensure yeast is active by blooming it in warm water. Store leftovers in an airtight container or freeze.
