Delicious Ukrainian garlic bread rolls, perfect as a side dish or standalone snack.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup garlic oil
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture to the flour and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and shape it into rolls.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush immediately with garlic oil before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, ideally with borscht or a fresh salad. Perfect for gatherings.
