Ingredients

- 2 large eggs

- 1/3 cup melted butter (or neutral oil)
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Mix wet ingredients in another bowl.
- Fold dry mix into wet until just combined.
- Preheat the waffle iron to medium-high and lightly oil the plates.
- Cook 3–5 minutes per waffle until golden and crisp.
Notes
Let the batter rest for 5–10 minutes for better texture. Make test waffles to adjust cooking time.
