Description

A simple gelatin snack that promotes satiety with low calories, customizable in flavor and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cold liquid (various options)
  • 1/2 cup cold water (for blooming)
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin (about 2024 g)
  • 1 cup boiling water (to dissolve)
  • 12 tablespoons lemon juice or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional for flavor)
  • Sweetener to taste (1–2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or 1–2 teaspoons erythritol)

Instructions

  1. Bloom the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
  2. Dissolve the bloomed gelatin in boiling water.
  3. Whisk in the remaining cold liquid and any flavoring.
  4. Pour into molds or a shallow pan.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 3–4 hours until firm.

Notes

Storage: Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 4–5 days. Can be frozen for up to 1 month.
