Description
A low-calorie, protein-forward snack made with gelatin or collagen that is quick to prepare and customizable with various flavors.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons (about 20 g) unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) cold water
- 1 cup (240 ml) boiling water
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) cold fruit juice or tea
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or sweetener to taste
Instructions
- Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Heat water to a full boil, then pour it over the bloomed gelatin and whisk until dissolved.
- Add cold fruit juice and lemon juice or sweetener, and mix well.
- Pour into an 8×8-inch dish or silicone molds.
- Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours.
Notes
For a protein boost, you can swap some gelatin for collagen peptides. Avoid adding fresh pineapple or kiwi as they can prevent setting.
