- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: 2 tablespoons heavy cream or sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, grated Parmesan, softened butter, and chopped parsley. Optionally, fold in heavy cream or sour cream for a creamier texture.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a greased baking dish. Spread the garlic Parmesan mixture evenly on top of each chicken piece.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Optionally, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. Let leftovers cool before storing in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months.
