Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter with minced garlic and lemon zest.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
- Place the salmon on a rimmed baking sheet lined with foil or parchment.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flaky.
- Optional: broil for 1–2 minutes for a crispy top.
