- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices beef bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until browned, then drain excess fat and remove from heat.
- In a separate skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in parsley and garlic powder if using.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll crescent roll dough, separate into triangles.
- Place beef, bacon, and cheddar cheese at the center of each triangle and roll up from the wide end.
- Brush with garlic butter mixture and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving with extra garlic butter for dipping.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken. For vegetarian options, use meat substitutes or mushrooms.
