Description

A quick and flavorful chicken dish featuring garlic and parsley, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (low-sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet to incorporate all flavors.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

Let the chicken marinate in lemon juice and garlic for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
