- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup chicken broth (low-sodium)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet to incorporate all flavors.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
Let the chicken marinate in lemon juice and garlic for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
