Description
Incredibly rich and fudgy brownies made with browned butter and high-quality dark chocolate for a complex, chocolatey finish and a glossy, crackly top.

- 10 tablespoons (140 g) unsalted butter
- 4 oz (115 g) chopped dark chocolate (70%)
- 1 1/4 cups (250 g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup (95 g) all-purpose flour
- A pinch of flaky salt
Instructions
- Brown the unsalted butter in a light-colored skillet over medium heat for about 6–8 minutes until nutty and amber.
- Remove from heat, add chopped dark chocolate, and stir until melted and smooth.
- Whisk in granulated sugar and eggs one at a time until combined.
- Gently fold in all-purpose flour and flaky salt until no dry ingredients remain.
- Pour the batter into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
- Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 20–28 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly underdone.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
For variations, try adding nuts or a cheesecake swirl before baking. Best served warm with ice cream or dusted with powdered sugar.
