Crispy and cheesy fried mac and cheese bites, perfect for snacking or parties.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pot, combine cooked macaroni, cheddar, mozzarella, and milk over medium heat until cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
- Once cooled, shape the mixture into bite-sized balls.
- Dip each ball in flour, then eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F and fry the bites until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
Serve with marinara or ranch dressing. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or frozen for up to 2 months.
